Worship on the Water

Much of the ministry of Jesus was on the seashore and coastal villages. As an extension of 8th Day, the ecumenical high school and young adult ministry here at Trinity, are gathering at the beach Sunday nights at 6:30 for devotions and worship. Worship started on Sunday evening, June 4, now you can be a part of the emerging church as we worship outside the walls of a sanctuary and in the world. We still need musicians and prayer support so, please pray and if this ministry appeals to you, call Lori Peper at 386-9313.

 

 

“The Upper Room”

A High School Worship Experience

It all started 2000 years ago when 12 followers of Jesus experienced the coming of the Holy Spirit to the Upper Room. This encounter changed them and the world forever. That same Spirit that came into the Upper Room 2000 years ago changing their lives and altering their eternities, can come into this Upper Room and change our lives and alter our eternities. Upper Room worship is a place where you can have this kind of experiential encounter with Jesus, just like the Acts 2 community did.

It's located in Edina at Christ Presbyterian Church (70th and Hwy. 100) from 7-8:30 pm (must be there by 6:30 to get a seat. There's over 1200 people attend each week!)

TEC is a nondenominational, evangelical, conservative youth ministry that holds three-day retreats in churches across the metropolitan area. The mission is to present clearly the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the written word, spoken word, music, drama. This message is demonstrated through gifts of service so that, by the end of the weekend, a student will be given the opportunity to accept Jesus Christ as his or her Lord and Savior. If participants are not ready to make a commitment at that time, they will understand God's call on their life well enough to give it ongoing consideration until the time when God moves them to respond. For those who have already made a personal commitment, TEC will challenge students to make a deeper commitment in their walk with Jesus.

Outside of the youth room, right next to the bulletin board, there are a number of brochures entitled Tips for Teens . These brochures offer information, answers and help for a number of teenage issues. Please, if you are searching for some help, check out these brochures. Take one home, give it to a friend. Utilize these wonderful, free resources.
